What an answer looks like
A ball is thrown at 20 m/s at 45°. How far does it go? (g = 9.8 m/s²)
Range R = u² sin 2θ / g = 400 × 1 / 9.8 ≈ 40.8 m. JEE angle: at 45° sin 2θ = 1, so range is simply u²/g — and complementary angles (30° and 60°) give the same range, a favourite trap.
